You know you are gonna be in for an interesting weekend when the following things happen: (1) you go on a youth retreat as a leader and a photographer, (2) you go through a part of Pennsylvania called Bushkill... BUSHKILL... and (3) you return to a retreat location that you haven't been to in more than 10 years since you were last a youth in the same ministry you are helping out. Yupp...this was the past weekend for me. Boy did that place bring back memories of teenage me...BRUH!
One of the moments I enjoyed was doing a photo walk on the campgrounds and using that time to worship God with the talents and gifts that he has given to me. Sure, I probably could've sat down to read and prayed to him or sing worship songs by the lake (but then my epic abilities of singing in the key of off might have ended the gaggle of fish living in the water which would have resulted in an epic fish dinner similar to that of Jesus' time, but I digress), but photographing comes so naturally to me so I figured why not use that to worship Him. The images you see is a result of that; just being creative and photographing the things he either points out to me or sends my way (eg. the Red Salamander...I think that's a salamander...well, red small creature thing on four legs...)
