With Fall being about 43 days old and Winter preparing itself to knock on the door, I wanted to make sure I get at least one shot at photographing the fall foliage and pointe shoes together. Especially since I am near this big mass of land with trees, leaves, tourists from various countries and squirrels known as Central Park during the workweek.
Thankfully the talented ballerina/dancer Amber J. Merrick was available to play around for a few minutes to help make this opportunity possible. Armed with my sketchbook and pencil known humbly as the Sony QX-1 with Sigma 60mm f/2.8 lens I was able to "sketch". Check out some of the offerings!
Hopefully before Fall starts to be ushered away by it's interesting cousin Winter, I'll do more "sketches" and grab more photos of the fall foliage and the dancer's pointe shoes. Who knows, it might make an interesting side-project and perhaps a coffee table book. *ponders*
