After a successful outing this past Wednesday, I was offered an opportunity (via Ed) to go come out to Coney Island to photograph the night sky and the elements. So, with a free Friday (and a unlimited MetroCard that won't expire until June) I trekked out to the island with my Sony A6000, three Canon lenses (judge me, lol) and a tripod in hopes to keep the photography juices flowing. Thankfully, we don't adventure alone. The Shaws, Artie and Christine, we able to join us to create and capture for a little bit; then, it was back to landscape shooting.
I definitely should have brought my LED glowsticks with me in order to play around with light paintings... But I have a feeling the remainder of the Spring and the upcoming Summer will provide many more opportunities to get creative and to bring out the sticks. Thanks again Ed for inviting to venture with you once more. And now, I present to you want my A6000 and I were able to capture. Enjoy!
PS: Can we give a slow clap to Artie Shaw for being able to stay still for 20 seconds so that this shot can happen?
