Recently, I had the opportunity to work with an up-and-coming makeup artist here in the NYC area who wanted to build up her portfolio and was in need of a photographer. At first I wasn't prepared (mentally or with charged equipment) to do the session; but guess who plugged up every charger into every outlet? *raises hand slowly* I. HAD. A. BLAST!!! Jokes were shared, shade was thrown and the images were looking fire (and this was from seeing the results on the back of the camera!)
One of the best parts about the shoot was that I felt confident that I was getting great images in-camera with the two light setup I was utilizing. Now that I remembered how the lights were set up, I can use this same setup on similar shoots.
Hopefully at some point a few of the images will appear on my website in the portraits portfolio section. (Hopefully it'll be up before July, pray for me y'all) Until then, you have some behind the scenes offerings.
With another non-dance session in the books, I guess you can still say I'm more than just a dance photographer! *dramatic wink with slight head movement*
